Guest list

A guest list that answers its own RSVPs

The guest list is the spine of the whole wedding: seating, catering numbers, invitations and the final headcount all read from it. Which is why it living in three places is the most expensive small problem in planning.

What it does

RSVPs arrive in the list, not your inbox

The RSVP form on your wedding website writes straight into the guest list. No copying from email, no wondering whether you already recorded a reply.

Households, not just names

Guests group into the household they arrive with, which is how invitations are addressed, how seating works, and how you count what a table needs.

A plus-one is a guest

Plus-ones are real records with their own name and RSVP, so they are counted, seated and catered for like anyone else rather than being a checkbox.

Per-event invitations

The welcome dinner, the ceremony and the brunch each have their own invitee list, so the headcount you give a caterer is the right one for that meal.

Import what you already have

Bring the spreadsheet you have been keeping instead of retyping two hundred names.

Common questions

Do RSVPs from our wedding website go into the guest list automatically?

Yes. The RSVP form on your Elos wedding website writes directly into the guest list, so responses, dietary notes and plus-ones appear against the right guest without anyone copying them across.

How does Elos handle plus-ones?

A plus-one is a full guest record linked to the person who invited them, with their own name and RSVP. That means they are counted in the headcount, seated in the seating chart and included in catering numbers.

Can we have different guest lists for different events?

Yes. Each celebration — welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, brunch — has its own invitee list, and the seating chart and headcounts follow the event you pick.

Can I import an existing guest list spreadsheet?

Yes, you can import rather than retype. Very large imports may be capped by your plan's guest limit.

It is not a separate app

The guest list is one screen of Elos Weddings — the same workspace as your budget, guest list, wedding website and the day-of timeline, shared with your partner. Nothing here needs re-entering somewhere else.
