Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2025  ·  tryelos.com

Elos is committed to making its wedding planning platform accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology used to access it. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as referenced in the EU Web Accessibility Directive.

01

Our Commitment

We believe wedding planning should be joyful and stress-free for every couple. That includes ensuring our platform is usable by people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or other assistive technologies.

02

Conformance Status

Elos is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known gaps.

03

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that are being actively improved:

  • Some AI-generated content may not always include sufficient alternative text for screen readers.
  • Certain interactive planning widgets may have limited keyboard navigation support.
  • Some older PDF documents linked from the platform may not be fully tagged for screen readers.

We are working to resolve these issues in upcoming releases.

04

Technical Specifications

Elos relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • WAI-ARIA (where applicable)
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

05

Supported Browsers & Assistive Technologies

We aim to support the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) in combination with common screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

06

Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Elos. If you experience any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

  • Email: accessibility@tryelos.com
  • Website: tryelos.com

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

07

Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the relevant enforcement body in your EU member state. In the EU, this is typically the national authority responsible for monitoring compliance with the Web Accessibility Directive.

08

Formal Complaints

If you wish to make a formal complaint about our accessibility, please email accessibility@tryelos.com with the subject line “Formal Accessibility Complaint.” We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 30 days.
